Made in Longridge in Lancashire since the end of the 2nd World War, Singletons use the whey left after cheesemaking, this means the butter has a sweeter flavour from the lactic acid produced in cheesemaking, it also means that the butter takes on the colour of the cheese, so sometimes it will be a rich golden colour when red cheese has been made! Made with pasteurised cows milk.
